27th February 2006 - Paul Carey Jones will appear this summer as one of the four finalists in the 2006 Welsh Singers Competition. The final is to be held on June 5th at St David's Hall in Cardiff, with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales conducted by David Parry. The other finalists will be the soprano Sarah-Jane Davies, mezzo Caryl Hughes and tenor Alun Rhys-Jenkins. The winner of the competition will go on to represent Wales at the 2007 Cardiff Singer of the World competition.
