17th November - Paul Carey Jones' entry into the London Welsh Society's biennial Young Welsh Singer of the Year Competition ended in his being awarded the runner-up prize of £300. The adjucating panel consisted of former RAM Head of Vocal Faculty Kenneth Bowen, the celebrated operatic soprano Anne Evans, and former Covent Garden chorus master Stephen Wilding. Paul was accompanied by Llyr Williams in a programme by Mozart, Brahms and William Bradwen Jones.
