18th October - A week's recording began today at Studio 1, Culverhouse Cross for S4C's Christmas operatic special, Crwtyn Bach y Simne, a Welsh-language translation by Caryl Parry-Jones of Britten's opera The Little Sweep. The cast includes Mary Lloyd Davies, Wynne Evans, Anthony Stuart Lloyd, Aled Hall, Fflur Wyn and Paul Carey Jones, in Andrew O'Neill's production for Cwmni Al Fresco. The broadcast date will be during Christmas Week - watch this space for more news as soon as it breaks.
