1st September - The tenor Alun Rhys-Jenkins became the latest singer to add his name to the list of winners of the W Towyn Roberts Scholarship, Wales' most prestigious award for young singers. Alun is an old friend, having sung alongside Paul Carey Jones on several occasions over the years. The same is true of second-placed soprano Stephanie Corley, and indeed of Fflur Wyn who finished third. Many congratulations to all three.
