19th May - The trainees of the National Opera Studio head north next week for the second residency of this year's course, at Opera North in Leeds. The singers and repetiteurs will spend the week rehearsing with the company's staff, including conductor Wyn Davies, culminating in a concert with the Orchestra of Opera North in the King's Hall, Ilkley on Friday night, May 29th. The programme includes excerpts from Cosi Fan Tutte, Don Giovanni, L'Elisir d'Amore, Hansel and Gretel and Madam Butterfly.
