17th February - Paul Carey Jones has accepted a place on the 2003-2004 course at the National Opera Studio. The course forms a link between conservatoire training and the beginnings of a professional career, and the Studio is recognized internationally as being one of the foremost training institutions in the world. Alumni include Gerald Finley, Philip Joll, Alastair Miles, Katarina Karneus and Gwyn Hughes Jones. The course will begin in September 2003, and runs until July 2004, at the Studio's new premises in Wandsworth, South London.
